Zakopane is a charming city located in southern Poland. Yearly, it gathers thousands and thousands of visitors. Its advantage is the nearness of Tatra Mountains, but also unique atmosphere and beautiful views. There are many museums, which are definitely worth seeing. Where to go?

Tatra Museum

It’s one of the oldest museums in the whole country, opened in 1889. The main branch is opened on famous Krupówki street and the visitors can see many interesting exhibitions there. One should visit it during Zakopane tours and find out many interesting facts about historical furniture, clothing, fauna and flora and many more.

Museum of Zakopane Style at Villa Koliba

This museum is actually another branch of Tatra Museum – just at different localization and showing mainly they way rooms were organized years back. The villa originally belonged to Zygmunt Gnatowski – a wealthy landowner. It’s an interesting and definitely beautiful place worth seeing.

Museum of the grilled cheese
